Croft Historic District

Croft Historic District is a national historic district. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings and one structure in the crossroads community of Croft. Contributing resources include the S.W. & C.S. Davis General Store (1908), two-story Queen Anne style S.W. Davis House (1903) and flower house (c.1903), the old Croft School (c.1890, c.1912), three warehouses (c.1910, c. 925, and c.1930), and a section of the (former) Atlantic. Tennessee and Ohio Railroad Tracks (1871).

Recreation - Greenways

Recreation in the area includes numerous parks and recreational facilities. A growing 62,000-square-foot YMCA features a crowd-drawing water park. Mallard Creek and Clark’s Creek greenways. Charlotte Sports Center is a 75,000-square-foot athletic center that offers indoor basketball, volleyball, inline hockey, soccer, flag football and a fitness center.
Reedy Creek Park, a picturesque 727-acre nature preserve, popular with families and nature lovers.

Shopping Center

Belgate Shopping Center features the only IKEA store between Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, in addition to numerous other big box stores like Furniture Row. Spend the day at Shoppes at University Park riding the paddle boats, feeding the ducks, getting in some shopping, and enjoying the food and entertainment.
